Who are the partners of the project?

The work of this project is carried out within the scope of the protocol signed between Durak Hazelnuts and Ikizce District Governorate.

What is the purpose of this project?

This project aims at preventing child labor in hazelnut cultivation and ensuring that health and education services are used in a safe environment for children during the hazelnut harvest.

What is the primary goal of the project?

The primary objective of this project, Turkey's compliance with the seasonal agricultural workers 5-14 year-olds and children aged 5-14 years in the local by determining the educational and developmental needs of the age group in İkizce district during the time they were in the camps for various provinces of Ordu hazelnut harvest İkizce County to be supported by developmentally appropriate modules in classrooms and to ensure cultural cohesion.

What is the secondary goal of the project?

The secondary goal of this project was to increase the awareness of women in rural areas of rural and urban women who came to the town of İkizce to raise awareness about child labor.

What is the application area of the project?

Each Child a World "was designated as the district of the town of İkizce in 2017. In 2017, a child of 340 seasonal agricultural workers arrived.
